The Eagle
Dating back to the 14th Century, the Eagle is probably the most famous pub in Cambridge. Many stories and events surround the pub: It was here in 1953 that Watson and Crick announced they had discovered the structure of DNA. The bars are also full of mementos of pilots from the Second World War. There are even tales about resident ghosts and a window that must never be shut.
