Christs College
Christs College was first established in 1437 by William Byngham a London parish priest for training grammar school masters. It became one of the leading Puritan colleges during the Civil War, admitting John Milton a famous puritan and one of the greats of English Literature. The garden still boasts Miltons Mulberry Tree.
