15 Selwyn College
The College opened in 1882 and takes its name from George Augustus Selwyn, a former student and Fellow at St Johns College and the first Bishop of New Zealand 1841-68. The College is the home to around 360 undergraduate and 130 postgraduate students, the Master and more than 60 Fellows. The College also boasts seven former Olympians in rowing, sailing and athletics.
